Dual Action 2% BHA + Chestnut Shell
For those with tolerant, oily, and acne / congestion-prone skin or exfoliant experts, Isntree’s most powerful BHA (2% Salicylic Acid) is your best choice. 2% Salicylic Acid is highly effective indecongesting clogged pores (whiteheads / blackheads) in especially oily skin to prevent future breakouts over time. It also uses tannins from Chestnut shells (plus points for sustainable beauty!) to tighten pores and provide an antiseptic effect to reduce sebum / extra grease (that makes skin more clogged). To ensure skin does not dry out too much (as is the case with anti-acne products), 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid ensure your skin stays healthy while exfoliating!
If you are new to exfoliants or have more sensitive skin, we recommend starting off with gentler BHAs such as Isntree’s Clear Skin BHA Toner (1% Betaine Salicylate) or Axis-Y’s Daily Purifying Treatment Toner (0.5% Salicylic Acid). If you’re looking for something stronger than those two, this would be great just make sure to start slowly (2x-3x a week and increase frequency over time)!

How to Use:
- After cleansing, apply on cotton pad and gently apply all over the face.
